Mike Birbiglia will celebrate the box office opening for his new Broadway play, THE NEW ONE, this Friday October 12 beginning at 12 PM by walking from the show's previous home at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) to its new home at The Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street).

Mike Birbiglia's podcast The Old Ones is releasing a new episode today. Mike discusses "Oh Hello on Broadway" with special guest Nick Kroll and makes a Broadway announcement of his own. They also discuss getting so high that they hosted an a cappella festival.

Following an acclaimed off-Broadway run that sold-out immediately, Mike Birbiglia's The New One will move to Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). The Boys in The Band took its final Broadway bow yesterday, August 11, 2018. The limited engagement began previews on April 30th at Broadway's Booth Theater (222 West 45th Street) and officially opened on May 31st.

The Geffen Playhouse today announced that Christian Camargo (Penny Dreadful, The Hurt Locker) has joined its West Coast Premiere of Martyna Majok's Ironbound, directed by Tyne Rafaeli (Actually). Camargo will play Tommy alongside Tony Award nominee Marin Ireland (Broadway's reasons to be pretty, Amazon's Sneaky Pete) as Darja and Josiah Bania (The Good Wife) as Maks, both of whom are reprising their Off-Broadway roles in the Geffen production, and Marcel Spears (The Mayor) as Vic.
