On Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 7PM at The Montalban Theatre in the heart of Hollywood, one of the largest casts of Broadway stars ever assembled in Los Angeles will unite for a one night only event -Broadway to the Rescue: A Benefit for the Homeless. This one of a kind cast, with nearly 100 Broadway credits combined, will recreate and revive some of Broadway's greatest hits, many by the headliners that made them famous.

On October 25, the new musical comedy YOUNG DR. JEKYLL with book, music & lyrics by Philip Stern and co-book writers Tim Wells & Lisa Hopkins, played in concert with a cast of Broadway veterans and a four-piece band at Feinstein's/54 Below. As BroadwayWorld reported last week, Rob Ashford just directed a private industry reading of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas with an all-star cast, including Broadway favorite Kristen Chenoweth. Now according to her recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the show might go on to have a life on Broadway. She explains: 'I think there is financing in place and I think it has to be a decision we can make and I have another show that I'm involved with about Tammy Faye Bakker. It's all about timing.'
