Gish (Gerry Goffin), Kathryn Boswell(Cynthia Weil), James Michael Lambert (Barry Mann), Matt Loehr (Don Kirshner) and Rachel Coloff (Genie Klein) to the Company beginning September 20 in Utica, NY.

Flat Rock Playhouse continues the 2019 Season with summer blockbuster musical and Broadway classic, South Pacific. Known for its glorious score by Rodgers and Hammerstein, the show transports audiences to the Pacific Islands in World War II as young couples struggle with the dynamics of love, war, and faith. Yet, South Pacific also showcases a vibrant, delightful comedic side found in the business of everyday life: raising children, relationship squabbles, and workplace gossip.

New York Theater Festival's SUMMERFEST presents Emergency, a modern-day medical musical by father-son creative team Jeff and Jacob Foy, featuring a talented cast of Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional theater performers. Winner of the Ken Davenport Inner Circle Grant, three performances will be staged at the Hudson Guild Theater, 441 West 26th Street in NYC.

This year's ceremony will take place on Sunday, 10 March at 17:30 at the Artscape Opera House in Cape Town and promises to be an evening celebrating Vintage theatre and wines.

WEST SIDE STORY, the Fugard Theatre's epic out-of-house production, which is currently back for a final South African season at the Artscape Opera House, has extended its run by popular demand. The highly acclaimed show that opened on 7 March to rave reviews and five-star ratings, has once again taken Cape Town by storm and will now run to 22 April 2018, when it must close. There is no possibility for extension beyond that date.

The current season of WEST SIDE STORY - produced by the Fugard Theatre in the Artscape Opera House - is still as grand as it was in 2015, but is even better in 2018 than it was before - an emotional rollercoaster that is second to none. When I look back at the various productions and performances of WEST SIDE STORY that I have seen to date, this is the one I will remember.

The spirit of every musical theater production is its score. If a musical makes an audience hum its show tunes at the end of the show, then it served its purpose of prime entertainment. The international touring company of the beloved classic musical "West Side Story," which features music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and book by Arthur Laurents, will come to The Theatre at Solaire (Aseana Avenue, Solaire Resort and Casino) next month, August 10-27.

The final round of the 2014 Fearless Icon Vocal Competition takes place Sunday, Dec. 14 from 7-9 p.m. at Union County Performing Arts Center, 1601 Irving Street, Rahway NJ.
