The Recording Academy® has confirmed the final slate of performers for the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. Previously announced Gary Clark Jr., will be joined by The Roots to perform Clark's GRAMMY-nominated song 'This Land.' Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Trombone Shorty will unite to honor those we have lost this year in a touching In Memoriam piece. And, Sheila E. will take the stage with Usher for an exciting GRAMMY Salute to Prince. Live from STAPLES Center, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network, Sunday, Jan. 26at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.

In keeping with the tradition of presenting signature 'GRAMMY® Moments,' the Recording Academy® has announced two special segments to take place on the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. The first, 'Old Town Road All-Stars,' will feature current nominees Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus joined by BTS, Diplo, Mason Ramsey, and other surprise guests. Over the past year, 'Old Town Road' has been the subject of numerous mixes and mashups, which inspired bringing together a number of acts who have performed it, making it a one-of-a-kind performance.

The Recording Academy® announced their lineup of artists, musicians, actors, and comedians who will take the stage as presenters at the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. This year's presenters include current GRAMMY® nominees Jim Gaffigan and Trevor Noah; GRAMMY winners Common, Cynthia Erivo, Dua Lipa, Billy Porter, Smokey Robinson, Shania Twain, Keith Urban, and Stevie Wonder; past GRAMMY nominees Ava DuVernay and Bebe Rexha; and music industry moguls Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. Additionally, previously announced Brandi Carlile and Tanya Tucker will play double duty as both presenters and performers.

NBC has averaged a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall for the primetime ratings week of Jan. 13-19, according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Producers Brian Moreland, Ron Simons, Mike Jackson, John Legend and Eric Falkenstein announced today that Blue, the play by Charles Randolph-Wright with music by Nona Hendryx and lyrics by Charles Randolph-Wright, will play a 16-week engagement at New York's Apollo Theater (253 West 125th Street), under the direction of Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad who starred in both the play's 2000 world premiere at Arena Stage and 2001 New York premiere at Roundabout Theatre Company.

The 2020 MusiCares® Person of the Year Aerosmith will perform live at the tribute concert in their honor, with Russell Brand as the event's host. GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Melissa Etheridge and past GRAMMY Award nominees Nuno Bettencourt, Jessie J and Kesha join the concert lineup with previously announced performers Cheap Trick, Gary Clark Jr., Alice Cooper, Gavin Degraw, Johnny Depp, Foo Fighters, Luis Fonsi, Sammy Hagar, H.E.R., Jonas Brothers, Emily King, John Legend, John Mayer, Ashley McBryde, LeAnn Rimes, and Yola. Greg Phillinganes will be the musical director.

The Recording Academy® has announced an all-star tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle to take place on the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. Set to pay posthumous honor to the current three-time GRAMMY® nominee are Kirk Franklin, DJ Khaled, John Legend, Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch and YG. IFC announced today that the Critics' Choice Award-nominated Sherman's Showcase will return with a one-hour “Black History Month Spectacular” this summer (yes, you read that right). Created by and starring Bashir Salahuddin (Top Gun: Maverick, South Side) and Diallo Riddle (Marlon, South Side), and executive produced by John Legend's Get Lifted Film Co. and RadicalMedia, the witty, irreverent and wholly original Sherman's Showcase “Black History Month Spectacular” will feature more of the sketches, A-list guest stars, and original hit, award-winning songs that, all together, earned the series a 100% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and inclusion on numerous 'Best of 2019' lists.

Musical legends Mariah Carey, Annie Lennox / Dave Stewart p/k/a Eurythmics, Ernie Isley / Marvin Isley / O'Kelly Isley / Ronald Isley / Rudolph Isley / Chris Jasper p/k/a The Isley Brothers, Steve Miller, Chad Hugo / Pharrell Williams p/k/a The Neptunes, Rick Nowels and William “Mickey” Stevenson will become the latest inductees of the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the organization's 51st Annual Induction and Awards Dinner. These legendary songwriters wrote mega-hits such as, 'Vision of Love,”  “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” “Shout,” “The Joker,” “Hollaback Girl,” “Heaven is a Place on Earth,” and “Dancing In The Street.” The star-studded induction event is slated for Thursday, June 11th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
