Lake Tahoe Dance Collective will present the eleventh annual Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, which will take place this summer from July 26-29, 2023 at venues in Tahoe City and Truckee, CA.

San Francisco Ballet has announced the appointment of eight new corps de ballet members and new and returning character artists.

American Ballet Theatre (ABT) returns to the Lied Center this May to present two performances of its universally acclaimed production of the heartbreaking romance Giselle. 

Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen announces the retirement of Principal Dancer Paulo Arrais from the Company and his appointment to Boston Ballet School's Professional Division at Walnut Hill as Full Time Faculty. Arrais joined Boston Ballet as an artist of the Company in 2010, was promoted to soloist in 2011, and to principal dancer in 2012.  

This holiday season, experience the magic of Canton Ballet's beloved performances of The Nutcracker at the Canton Palace Theatre December 9-11. Yan Chen, former Soloist with American Ballet Theatre, has been named to the dual positions of Principal Teacher for the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School Pre-Professional Division and Rehearsal Director for ABT Studio Company. The appointments, effective September 6, were announced by Stella Abrera, Acting Artistic Director of the ABT JKO School and Sascha Radetsky, Artistic Director of ABT Studio Company.

TIIT HELIMETS, principal dancer of the San Francisco Ballet, will appear as a guest artist in the Allen Civic Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker,  at the Performing Arts Center at Allen High School in Allen, Texas on December 17 (Evening) and 18 (Matinee), 2022.

American Ballet Theatre has announced its 2022 promotions. Catherine Hurlin and Roman Zhurbin have been appointed to the rank of Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre.

Entering its 37th season, Miami City Ballet has announced five new dancers to its company roster.  Joining MCB's roster of world-class dancers for the 22/23 Season is principal dancer Yuliia Moskalenko, who joins the company from the National Opera of Ukraine.

Invited by Gustavo Dudamel to participate in the 100th anniversary season of the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the Paris Opera Ballet, directed by Aurélie Dupont, will perform for the first time in this amphitheater on July 21 and 22, 2022. On the immense open-air stage and accompanied by the LA Phil under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, Music Director of the Opéra national de Paris, the Company will present an anthology of its repertoire before more than 17,000 spectators each evening.

The Washington Ballet today announced that five members of its Studio Company have been promoted into the Company. The dancers are: Andrea Allmon; Rafael Bejarano; Nicholas Cowden; Audrey Malek; and Isaac “Rench” Soriano. 

The production, which will premiere at the National Theatre, requires from the performers expressive acting, brilliant dance technique and a profound sense for a range of emotional portrayal of the individual characters.

New York City Ballet announced today the promotion of Chun Wai Chan to Principal Dancer. Following a series of debuts throughout the Company’s 2021-22 Repertory Season, Chan will make his final debut this season in the role of Titania’s Cavalier in George Balanchine’s beloved full-length classic, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which closes out NYCB’s 2022 Spring Season with ten performances from May 21 to 29, 2022 at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. Chun Wai Chan joined New York City Ballet as a Soloist in August 2021.

Former American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer Susan Jaffe has been named the Company's next Artistic Director. Jaffe's appointment, effective December 2022, was announced today by Andrew Barth, ABT Chairman of the Board of Governing Trustees.

Cape Town City Ballet has announced a change in the programme for its production of Maina Gielgud’s GISELLE. GISELLE will be presented from 18 March until 9 April 2022 in the Artscape Opera House. Ksenia Ovsyanick, Principal Ballerina with Staatsballett Berlin, will dance the role of Giselle opposite Vadim Muntagirov (Principal of The Royal Ballet) as Albrecht at the performances on 19, 21, 23 and 25 March. She replaces Tatiana Melnik, who was originally scheduled to perform as part of the programme.

The Australian Ballet has announced three extraordinary new titles as part of its 2022 live stream series, 'LIVE ON BALLET TV', under the guidance of Artistic Director David Hallberg. Kicking off the series with the first live stream to audiences around the world on March 8, 2022, the company returns to the stage resilient, invigorated and strong.
