Kicking off 2024 with a bang, they are back with a new single ‘Oh No :: He Said What?', which received its first play as Clara Amfo's Hottest Record in the World on Radio 1. Recorded at the end of the original ‘Dead Club City' writing sessions, ‘Oh No :: He Said What?' is a band favourite and showcases their versality and creativity as songwriters.

The collaboration showcases a twist on Purple Disco Machine’s signature style, leaning into electronic indie pop with shimmering synth textures, an electro bassline, and Nothing But Thieves’ unmistakable sound. The unique blend of genres is further enhanced with production by Nothing But Thieves’ Dom Craik and chart-topping producer Duke Dumont.

Earlier this week, BroadwayWorld reported that James Marsden has set his sites on Broadway. In reponse to the news, Josh Gad took to Twitter to share some Broadway trivia, revealing that Marsden was originally offered the role of 'Elder Price' in The Book of Mormon! 

The uber-cool jam “Kicks,” performed by Chosen Jacobs, is the film’s opening musical sequence. The song was written by Antonina Armato, Tim James Price, Thomas Armato Sturges and Adam Schmalholz and produced by Antonina Armato and Tim James Price. The stand-out dance sequence is choreographed by Ebony Williams and Emilio Dosal.

New Light Theater Project will present The Jackson C. Frank Listening Party w/ Special Guests, written by Michael Aguirre and directed by Sarah Norris. The show begins streaming on Monday, March 29 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 11. After a much smaller, socially-distant season inside the company’s Showtime Stage on Red Bank Road, The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati is ready to roll out the red carpet and welcome patrons home to the Taft Theatre in Downtown Cincinnati starting this October 2021. 

The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati already announced Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical, DISNEY'S DESCENDANTS, is coming to life on stage as the opening title of its 101st season at the Taft Theatre.

Another howling success for kids, tweens and families was delivered by the premiere telecast of the Disney Channel Original Movie 'ZOMBIES 2' (Friday, Feb. 14, 8:00 p.m.), which according to Nielsen's Live+7 data is the #1 cable telecast of 2020 to-date (excluding sports/news programming) with nearly 5 million Total Viewers 2+. It was watched by 1.9 million Kids 6-11 viewers (12.56 rating), 1.4 million Girls 6-11 (18.43 rating), 1.6 million Tweens 9-14 (9.98 rating), 1.1 million Girls 9-14 and 4.9 million Total Viewers - higher ratings than its Feb. 2018 predecessor, 'ZOMBIES.' The sequel posted cable television's highest ratings among all Kid and Girl demographics since Disney Channel's premiere of 'Descendants 3' in Aug. 2019. Replays of the movie are strong performers on Disney Channel linear, Video On Demand and DisneyNOW and it ranks in the Top 5 TV Chart on Apple iTunes.
