The 2022 Mike Walsh Fellowships, amounting to $61,500, have recently been announced.  These five awards bring the total amount that Mike Walsh in the last 25 years has given to further the careers of up-and-coming theatre practitioners - from all areas of theatre - to just over $1,000,000.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater have announced their jazz programming running February 7 through February 19. Performers appearing at Birdland Jazz Club include Gunhild Carling, Ben Markley Big Band Feat. Ari Hoenig, Catherine Russell and Sam Blakeslee Large Group.

Jack Kleinsinger, the founder and producer of the highly regarded landmark jazz series, has put together an exciting, generation-crossing all-star concert lineup to mark the occasion.

Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center is offering a stellar series of jazz performances with more than two dozen musicians, vocalists, and dancers appearing in West Chester this September through December, hosted by local jazz and blues artist, Sara Michaels.

Hammer Theatre Center’s summer Sunset Series will conclude with a performance by The Alaya Project. The Alaya Project merges the intricate Carnatic style of Indian classical music with contemporary jazz and funk.The Alaya Projectwill be presented at 8:00pm, Friday, September 23 on the terrace of Hammer Theatre Center.

Co-produced by NJPAC, City Verses, and Jazz House Kids, this popular concert unites youth musicians from NJPAC's City Verses jazz and poetry initiative, NJPAC's Jazz for Teens ensembles featuring James Moody Jazz Orchestra and The George Wein Scholars Ensemble, JAZZ HOUSE Big Band, and local high schools.
