Four straight days of sold-out shows and capacity crowds, as well as surprise performances and collaborations, made the 48th annual CMA Fest one for the record books. At Nissan Stadium, Lil Nas X created one of the festival's most talked-about moments Saturday night, joined by Billy Ray Cyrus and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban for an epic surprise performance of “Old Town Road,” the No. 1 song in the country for 10 weeks and running. 

The excitement for the "2019 CMT Music Awards" continues to build with the addition of legendary country artist Toby Keith and hitmaker Cole Swindell to the jam-packed CMT performance lineup. Keith will perform his new single "That's Country Bro," with Swindell joining Keith on one of his biggest hits. This year's CMT Music Awards boasts a record-breaking number of performing artists and will include additional surprise guests on the live telecast, premiering Wednesday, June 5 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.

Stephen Martines is a lot of things, not the least of which is a well-versed musician and songwriter. The actor/singer/model/former athlete is releasing a new single just in time for summer, “Alright.” Strong banjo and guitar, mixed with pop beats and Martines' soulful sound, are the perfect concoction for a summer sing-a-long. “Alright,” written by Jennifer Denmark, Sam Brooker and Katie Cole (of The Smashing Pumpkins), has all the classic signs of summer that will have listeners throwing on their shades and rolling the windows down. The song was premiered by Think Country Music on Thursday.

Quickly gaining momentum, pop-country band of brothers Holiday State have released their debut single “Friday Feelin,'”their first in a series of singles to come in preparation for the release of their debut EP this summer. Produced by Hunter Hayes' band leader, Andy Sheridan, “Friday Feelin'” is a fun, energetic song that has the beach vibes needed to complete any summer playlist. Taste of Country premiered the song calling it “the perfect anthem for rolling down the windows and blaring some fun summertime music as you head out to the beach with friends.” The song can be streamed and downloaded here.

Today, rising country star Levi Hummon kicks off the “Closer to You Tour” with Hunter Hayes in Atlanta, GA. The tour will continue to make its way across the country with stops in major cities such as Chicago, St. Paul, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles before wrapping in Cincinnati on June 1st.  Back for a third straight year, CMA Fest has revealed the lineup for the popular nightly concerts at the Firestone Country Roads Stage at Ascend Amphitheater Thursday, June 6 through Saturday, June 8, with performances starting at 6:30 PM/CT each evening.

Hummon co-wrote his new tune with Jimmy Robbins and Trannie Anderson, and the track was produced by Matt McVaney.

The Country Music Association has revealed the initial artist lineup for this year's CMA Fest, which features hundreds of Country Music artists performing on multiple stages throughout downtown Nashville Thursday through Sunday, June 6-9. CMA Fest is a one-of-a-kind festival with artists donating their time to perform so a portion of ticket proceeds can directly benefit high-quality music programs across the country through the CMA Foundation. A limited number of four-day passes for the nightly performances at Nissan Stadium are still available at CMAfest.com or through the CMA Box Office at 1-800-CMA-FEST.  

Today with the help of Billboard and CMT, rising country star Levi Hummon debuted the official music video for “I Still Do” from his latest EP, Patient. The track has already seen success, having been featured on various playlists on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, YouTube Music, and Pandora.  The video for “I Still Do” was brought to life by CeCe Dawson of RareSpark Media Group and was filmed in East Nashville. The video can be viewed online HERE and will make its broadcast premiere throughout the day on CMT.

CMT announced today that it will be the official partner for the second annual Live In The Vineyard Goes Country event, which takes place in Napa, California May 14-16.  Last year, CMT attended the festival for a special edition of its flagship show “CMT Hot 20 Countdown,” and this year the network will sponsor the entire three-day event, which is one of the most sought-after tickets across the country as a private festival. Live In The Vineyard Goes Country (LITVGC), taking place amidst the lush scenery of California's wine country, will give attendees exclusive access to recording artists, top tier wine makers and world-renowned chefs during a “once-in-a-lifetime” three-day event.  Last year's performers included headliner Carrie Underwood and special acoustic performances by Cam, Lindsay Ell, Hunter Hayes, Jillian Jacqueline, Maddie & Tae, Ashley McBryde, Jerrod Niemann, Old Dominion, Parmalee, Eric Paslay, Maggie Rose, Mitchell Tenpenny and more. The performance line-up for the 2019 event will be announced at a later date.

NBC celebrated the holiday season last night with 'Christmas in Rockefeller Center,' featuring performances by Diana Ross, Tony Bennett & Diana Krall, Brett Eldredge, Darci Lynne Farmer, John Legend, Ella Mai, Martina McBride, Pentatonix, Kellie Pickler, Rob Thomas, the New York City Ballet's production of 'George Balanchine's The Nutcracker,' the Radio City Rockettes and special appearances by Howie Mandel, 'Manifest' star Josh Dallas and 'New Amsterdam' star Ryan Eggold.

Singer/songwriter Jimmy Charles' debut EP, HARD WAY TO GO, is set for December 7 release and is available for pre-order now. Charles wrote or co-wrote all but one of the songs with partners whose credits range from cuts by Country legends (Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis) to young guns (Chris Cagle, Hunter Hayes, Eli Young Band).
