Canadian Opera Company's 2021/2022 season was marked by sold-out shows, an average mainstage attendance capacity of 94%, and impressive growth in the company's online community as reported yesterday by COC Board Chair Jonathan Morgan and COC General Director Perryn Leech.

Tickets for Greek National Opera productions to be presented inside the Stavros Niarchos Hall and on the GNO Alternative Stage at the SNFCC from January through March 2023 went on sale 1 November 2022 at 9.00. 

'Created and directed by composer, conductor, and multi-genre musician Damien Sneed, Our Song, Our Story is an evening of music highlighting some of the world's most well-known operatic arias, art songs and spirituals.

The 38th Adelaide Festival, to be launched this Wednesday 9 November, at Adelaide Town Hall and via livestream offers a total of 52 events in theatre, music, opera, dance, media and visual arts, including major festivals-within-the-festival Adelaide Writers' Week, UKARIA Chamber Landscapes and WOMADelaide – over 17 days and nights from Friday 3 to Sunday 19 March.

Soprano Karoline Podolak of Toronto took home both First Prize and Audience Choice Award at the Canadian Opera Company's Centre Stage: Ensemble Studio Competition on November 3, 2022 at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. The evening marked the grand finale of a national search for Canada's top young opera singers, all of whom were vying for cash prizes and the chance to be invited for a coveted spot in the company's prestigious Ensemble Studio training program.

San Francisco Opera and the San Francisco Giants partner to present Opera at the Ballpark, a one-night-only free, live simulcast of San Francisco Opera's brand-new production of Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata on Friday, November 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Oracle Park.
