The smash hit musical ANYTHING GOES has smashed the Barbican Theatre's box office record by grossing £717,000 last week. This  is the highest grossing week for a musical at the Barbican in its 39 year history.

It couldn't be more timely that the iconic 70s British TV sitcom, The Good Life - attracting 21 million viewers at its peak in 1977 - now comes to theatres.

Anything Goes will sail into over 450 cinema screens nationwide for two nights only on Sunday 28 November and Wednesday 1 December in a live recording filmed at London’s renowned Barbican Theatre.  

The acclaimed cast will include actress and presenter Preeya Kalidas as 'Margo Leadbetter', Dominic Rowan as 'Jerry Leadbetter', and Sally Tatum as 'Barbara Good', joining the previously announced actor and comedian Rufus Hound as 'Tom Good'. Also featured will be Nigel Betts and Tessa Churchard.

The West End revival of Anything Goes starring Sutton Foster, Robert Lindsay, and more opened Friday 23 July, at London's Barbican Theatre for a strictly limited 12 week season until Sunday 17 October.

A brand new stage adaptation of beloved British sitcom THE GOOD LIFE will tour the UK this Autumn. The new comedy by Jeremy Sams, is based on the classic television series by John Esmonde and Bob Larbey which entertained countless millions in the 1970s.

ANYTHING GOES, today announced it will open this summer at London’s Barbican Theatre from Friday 23 July for a strictly limited 12 week season until Sunday 17 October. The musical will star Emmy & SAG Award winner Megan Mullally and Tony, Olivier & BAFTA Award winner Robert Lindsay. The musical was previously slated to begin performances in May.
