Maria-Cristina Fusté, Executive Artistic Director of Boundless Theatre Company and Melody Brooks, Artistic Director of New Perspectives Theatre Company are using the combined strengths of their two companies--NPTC has an award-winning history of developing new plays by women and BTC has a team of top-notch designers working on Broadway, Off-Broadway and in Regional theatres--to produce How to Melt ICE, a new play by Amalia Oliva Rojas, running Wednesday, February 1 to Saturday, February 11, 2023. The play is directed by Elena Araoz.
Lesley Hunter Joins HERE as New Managing Director

Lesley Hunter has joined HERE in the newly created role of Managing Director. She succeeds Meredith Lynsey Schade, Producing Director, and Brenna Thomas, Director of External Affairs, whose departures this year have provided an opportunity for restructuring at the institution.
Fountain Theatre Gives Women A Voice With Free Readings of MY BODY, NO CHOICE

Following last summer's triumphant readings of Lisa Loomer's Roe and with the midterm elections upon us, The Fountain Theatre once again jumps into action to give women a voice. The Fountain joins 20 theaters and universities across the U.S. to present two evenings of My Body, No Choice, staged readings of monologues commissioned by Washington D.C.'s Arena Stage.

There was a revolution on Broadway last night! Roundabout Theatre Company and the American Repertory Theater's new Broadway production of 1776, directed by Jeffrey L. Abingdon Theatre Company (Chad Austin, Artistic Director) has announced additional casting for their upcoming 30th Anniversary Gala on Monday, October 24 at The Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47th Street). The star-studded cast will be celebrating Abingdon’s milestone 30th anniversary as ATC honors Tony Award winner David Zippel and ATC Board President DMW Greer.
