Reproductive rights advocacy organization A is For once again brought together stars of stage and screen with Broadway Acts for Women: A Star-Studded Night of Karaoke and Comedy on September 30, 2018. The night feature performances from Broadway stars, actors, and comedians who support access to reproductive health care. Broadway Acts for Women is the only benefit that brings the Broadway community out in force for abortion rights and reproductive health care.

The USTA today announced that singer songwriter, Deborah Cox and Tony-nominated singer, Brandon Victor Dixon will perform "America the Beautiful" respectively prior to the women's and men's US Open Finals on Saturday, September 8th and Sunday, September 9th. In addition, Cox will perform "I'm Every Woman" and Dixon will be sing "We Are the Champions" as a celebration of the female and male champions of the past 50 years of the US Open in Flushing, NY.

A nationally recognized TV News Personality and Recording Artist makes his solo debut in "Love, Freedom & Peace," an entertaining and inspiring show featuring soulful resistance and peace songs from Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross plus his original songs.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces Writer-Director Communications Lab on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 10am-6pm at Studios 353, 353 W. 48th Street, Studio B (basement). Registration is $75 for TRU members ($85 for non-members), $30 for an additional collaborator (writer), and registration for TRU Member observers is $30 ($40 for non-members). Writers must be accepted before purchasing a spot.

In celebration of the Broadway musical's 50th anniversary, the Axelrod PAC presents HAIR in Concert with Remember Jones directing and starring as Claude alongside Tony Award nominees Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages) as Berger and Mary Bridget Davies (A Night with Janis Joplin) as Sheila.

Fort Lauderdale Mayor and LGBTQ Advocate Dean Trantalis will be the recipient of the first-ever Pride Center at Equality Park 'Alan Schubert Award of Excellence ' during the fourth annual Diversity Honors presented by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida at 7 p.m. on April 27 at the Hard Rock Event Center. The first U.S. National tour of the smash hit musical THE BODYGUARD celebrates its final opening night Tuesday, April 10 at The Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, FL.  The production will play its closing performance Sunday, April 15, 2018, after 439 performances in 44 cities across the U.S.
