The Porters of Hellsgate have announced the world premiere of DI Lady DI, written and performed by Charlotte Munson, is set to open at the Hollywood Fringe Festival on June 5th. DI Lady DI is a one woman, coming-of-age, powerhouse, new fairytale musical. Comedic and searingly innovative, DI Lady DI eschews the fairytale glamor of the People’s Princess to illuminate her struggles in a paternalistic society and dysfunctional family. 

Long Wharf Theatre yesterday announced the launch of its 2022/2023 season, “Everywhere for Everyone.” Under its new model, audiences will see programming radiating out from the institution's storied home at 222 Sargent Drive and into communities across Greater New Haven.

Ken Martin will join the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, August 1, 2022, as the new Clarence Brown Theatre artistic director and head of the Department of Theatre in the College of Arts and Sciences. Calvin MacLean, former artistic director and head, retired in August 2021.

Pittsburgh CLO has announced casting for the 30th annual production of A MUSICAL CHRISTMAS CAROL, December 17-23 at the Byham Theater. Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the return of Literature Live! with the staged virtual premiere of Shakespeare's Macbeth on Tuesday, November 9, at 8 p.m., followed by a talkback between the show's creators and actors. Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the online acting workshop Scenes and Monologues from Shakespeare, an intensive rehearsal of Shakespearean scenes and monologues, begins Wednesday, January 27. 'The King and I' Broadway star Conrad Ricamora has joined the cast of 'The Resident' in its fourth season. Ricamora will play a recurring role on the Fox medical drama.
