Tickets for the Broadway premiere of Mean Girls, the new musical produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film, go on sale to the general public today, October 3, at 10:00 AM EST.

Producers Lorne Michaels and Stuart Thompson have announced casting for the world premiere of the Broadway-bound new musical Mean Girls with a book by nine-time Emmy Award winner Tina Fey, based on her screenplay for the Paramount Pictures film; music by three-time Emmy Award winner Jeff Richmond; and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin. Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.

THE BLACK BOX New England Artist Series presents violinists Irina Fainkichen and Tara Novak in "World on a String" on Sunday, February 26, at 4 p.m. Fainkichen and Novak will be joined by bassist Mark Poniatowski, drummer Kenny Hadley and pianist Ben Cook. The program will feature music from around the world, including Irish, Hungarian, Romanian, American and gypsy tunes. Tea service will be available in the lobby.
