The Neil Simon Theatre box office is officially open for the highly anticipated National Theatre Production of Tony Kushner's epic and seminal masterwork, Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes. This strictly limited, 18-week engagement, now in rehearsals, will begin performances on Friday, February 23, 2018, with an official opening on Sunday, March 25, 2018.

Lucky you. It is unnecessary to go to New York to see a production of this epic. It is now running at Ensemble Theatre as part of their 'We The People' 2017-2018 season. The first segment, subtitled 'Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches,' is running until January 28. In April, 'Angels in America, Part Two: Perestroika,' will be staged at the theatre.

Evening Standard has revealed its shortlist for the Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2017. There are now three stars competing for each award. The ceremony will be held at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, on Sunday, December 3. The awards will be co-hosted by Evgeny Lebedev, Dame Anna Wintour, Cate Blachett, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
