The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati's 23-24 MainStage Season continues with NARNIA THE MUSICAL at the Taft Theatre December 9 - 18, 2023.

Step through the wardrobe and enter the magical world of Narnia, a captivating musical based on the beloved novel by C.S. Lewis. With music by Thomas Tierney and lyrics by Ted Drachman, this enchanting production brings to life the timeless story of four siblings who discover a magical land beyond the wardrobe in their country home.

Feinstein's/54 Below has added shows to #54BelowatHome, a series of streamed performances to provide theater fans everywhere with artistic content from their favorite artists.

NARNIA at Serenbe Playhouse, an immersive dramatization based on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, tells of four English schoolchildren in the time of World War II who stumble upon a wardrobe which they discover to be a portal into a magical kingdom of called Narnia. A kingdom that is held in the power of the White Witch whose evil spell has frozen the land so that it is a?oealways winter a?" and never Christmas.a??  On the journey, the children are embraced by mystical animals and the good Narnians who resist the Witch's evil and await the return of Aslan a?" the Great Lion, who is their rightful ruler. 

Theater Schmeater's tradition of bringing free family-friendly shows to Seattle parks continues this summer with a collection of Aesop's best-known fables. The Fabulous Fable Factory runs July 13 - August 15, starting at the 2019 Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival.

The decision to leave Belltown was not made easily. The theater's board and directors knew that giving up their own space to become a nomadic theater was a risk that would come with many challenges, but the cost of occupying the Belltown space was rapidly increasing to more than the income from a 50-seat theater could sustain. Theater Schmeater's Board President Rachel Sorrels notes that Because we value our artists and the art we put on the stage above everything else, we are willing to take that risk and face those challenges. Acting artistic director Andrew Shanks calls this a time of change and renewal for us as a company.
