I have always loved Footloose the movie (the first one), so seeing Luke Ferguson resemble the looks and moves of Kevin Bacon was so much fun. Honestly, it’s as if a young Kevin jumped out of the movie and landed on stage.

The Historic Royal Theatre will bring FOOTLOOSE to the stage in 2024, performed by the Young Players Second Stage.

Wasatch Theatre Company will conclude the Page-to-Stage Festival with the production of Matthew Ivan Bennett's ART AND CLASS, making its full production premiere September 7-11, 2023 at the Regent Street Black Box at The Eccles Theater in downtown Salt Lake City.

Wasatch Theatre Company will continue its summer season with the annual Page-to-Stage Festival featuring three full productions, staged readings, and workshops August 10-September 11 at the Regent Street Black Box at the Eccles Theater in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jordan Radis had the formidable task of portraying Ren McCormack, which is Kevin Bacon’s break-out role from the 80’s. He was able to pay homage to Kevin Bacon’s character while giving the it his own style. Audrey Taylor Floyd, who play Rusty, stood out with her impressive vocal performance in “Let’s Hear it for the Boy.” Though it is strange to hear pop songs from the 80’s sung in musical theatre style, Audrey was able to nail that song just like I remember hearing it many years ago. This show will make you laugh and want to dance and sing to songs you haven’t hear in years but still somehow know all the words.

Footloose: The Musical, produced by Panic! Productions & BarCinBoo Productions, is returning to Califórnia, for 13 performances April 22 – May 14, 2023.  Footloose is all about fun, dancing and the carefree nature of being a teenager... However, the show is honestly about so much more.  

On any Sunday through August 28, Long Island audiences can catch Broadway's John Hillner starring as Reverend Shaw in the Oyster Bay Theatre production of the hit musical, Footloose!
