Utah Rep to Present DOUBT

Utah Repertory Theater Company is pleased to announce their production of John Patrick Shanley's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning: "Doubt, a Parable". March 4 - 20 at the Sorenson Unity Center Black Box Theater.

In this brilliant and powerful drama, Sister Aloysius (Tracy Callahan), a Bronx school principal, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn (Roger Dunbar) of improper relations with one of the male students. "When you doubt a person, even their most innocent action can seem suspect," says director JC Carter. "And that's what confronts us in this play, the power of that suspicion can have in a closed environment like a Catholic parish and school." "Doubt" features the all-star cast of Tracy Callahan as Sister Alloysius, Roger Dunbar as Father Flynn, Cylie Janiece as Sister James and Dee-Dee Darby-Duffin as Mrs. Muller. The play is directed by JC Carter with Johnny Hebda producing. "We're thrilled with the cast we have for this production," says producer Johnny Hebda. "These are four strong performers who are perfect for their roles." "I think audiences are in for an amazing evening," says Carter.
