An inventive, magic-filled original adaption of A Christmas Carol will take the West Theatre stage November 29 at TheatreSquared (477 W. Spring St., Fayetteville) and will run through December 24.

​​​​​​​TheatreSquared's A Christmas Carol—a beloved Northwest Arkansas tradition that debuted with the company's new building in 2019—will return to the stage December 1 and continue performances through Christmas Eve. Adapted by T2 co-founders Amy Herzberg and Robert Ford, the inventive, magic-filled T2 original production is directed by Herzberg and associate director Bryce Kemph.

What did our critic think of TWELVE ANGRY MEN at Theatre Latte Da? In a small New York City jury room, on 'the hottest day of the year,' twelve men debate the fate of a young defendant charged with murdering his father. In form, TWELVE ANGRY MEN: A NEW MUSICAL is a courtroom drama; in purpose, it's a crash course in those passages of the U.S. Constitution that promise defendants a fair trial and the presumption of innocence.

Written and recorded at his home studio deep in the Highlands of Scotland and loosely inspired by the peerless score of the 2010 film Drive, “Somebody New” is a spacious and contemplative listen that thrives on isolation. Written and produced  by The Joshua Hotel, “Somebody New” was mixed and mastered by Jason Shaw (Cambodian Space Project).

Indecorous Theatre Productions brings discussions of sexuality, gender identity, and queer culture to the forefront in their upcoming production of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night for the 2021 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati opens its 2019-2020 arts season with the regional premiere of Fun Home a?" a memoir musical based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, with lyrics and book by Lisa Kron and music by Jeanine Tesori. In this highly anticipated musical, Alison Bechdel's coming-of-age memoir depicts the evolution of her young life, her identity, and the secrets that defined her family and her upbringing. The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) today announced the JUNO Awards are heading back to Saskatchewan in 2020.  Affectionately dubbed the 'Paris of the Prairies', Saskatoon will once again host the largest music event in the country and all JUNO Week festivities beginning on March 9, culminating with the 49th annual JUNO Awards broadcast live on CBC from the SaskTel Centre on Sunday, March 15, 2020. 

Scottish indie-pop rockers Astrid are back with a brand new album after a 14-year hiatus, Fall, Stand, Dance, to be released April 12 on Edwyn Collins' AED Records, premiering a first single “Poison Reaction” via Buzzbands.LA, prior to its official release on February 22 – share via Soundcloud.  Led by songwriters Willie Campbell and Charlie Clark, Fall, Stand, Dance was recorded in Los Angeles, where Clark now resides, produced by Eric McCann (The New Amsterdams) and mixed by long time Astrid collaborator Tony Doogan(Belle and Sebastian/Mogwai/Delgados).

The incomparable 'Mary Poppins' returns to Bloomington's The Artistry Theater on the winds of her iconic character's umbrella. Penned as a collection of eight stories beginning in the 1934, Walt Disney wrangled the rights from author PL Travers for their 1964 film. One of the studios crowning glories in its film history, the movie garnered eight academy awards. The Broadway adaptation, on view at Artistry, differs from the film featuring music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman from a play created by Julian Fellows. Director Joel Sass and Music Director Anita Ruth along with Choreographer Joe Chavala produced a Broadway worthy musical at the Bloomington Arts Center, which the lyrics will aptly: 'Stretch your mind into the fantastic, dreams are made of strong elastic.'
