14th Street Y to Stage TIME KEEPERS: STORY OF THE LOON, 12/12-13

The Theater at the 14th Street Y presents TIME KEEPERS, an original production written by Rachel Sherk with an original musical score by Aaron Rourk on December 12th and 13th, 2015 at 11am and 2pm.

This imaginative tale is about magical creatures that live in the stars and build the first clock, creating time. The story is told through puppets and live music and features magic winds, silver dewdrops, talking animals, a loon and a moon.

This story begins before the birth of time, when the Earth existed in two halves-the Land Under the Sun and the Land Under the Moon. Follow a Loon as she journeys between these lands. See her befriend a group of magical creatures called the TIME KEEPERS, who are friendly creatures living inside of clocks and keeping track of time, wishes and dreams. Come enjoy this play for children (and grown-ups!) filled with puppetry, stories and songs. Join us as we explore the magical world of the TIME KEEPERS!

Also on December 12th, 2015 the 14th Street Y through Downtown Jewish Life presents, PAUSE/PLAY, an innovative Saturday afternoon of Shabbat programming. Come for TIMEKEEPERS and stay for the rest of the afternoon.
