Complete casting has been announced for the opening production of Passage Theatre's 30th anniversary season, Song for the Disappeared, a world premiere by Tanya Saracho. Directed by Alex Correia, the production will play Trenton's The Mill Hill Playhouse through October 25.

When Javi Cantú vanishes, the family patriarch (Felipe Gorostiza), his trophy wife (Annie Dow), daughters (Vivia Font and Christina Nieves), and bodyguard (Thomas Christopher Nieto) reunite for the first time in years to find him. But saving a son from the narcos on the US/Mexican border is nothing compared to saving the Cantús from each other.

In casting the roles, Passage Theatre's Artistic Director June Ballinger and director Alex Correia were looking for five highly talented actors who understand the particular region where playwright Tanya Saracho set this play -- McAllen, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley, minutes away from the border with Mexico.

Annie Dow credits include Hero in Much Ado About Nothing with the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington DC; she has also participated in the development of new works at CAP 21, Baryshnikov Arts Center, Playwrights Realm, and The Lark. She has also performed in plays and workshops at Arizona Theatre Company, McCarter Theatre, INTAR, New Dramatists, George Street Playhouse, Perry Mansfield. Vivia directed her 4th season at the Old Globe SSI program. Film and TV: One Life to Live, Sarbanes Oxley.

Felipe Gorostiza's New York stage credits include Blood Wedding, Fabiola, The Normal Heart, La Tempestad, Twelfth Night, Man and the Fly with Rip Torn, Be Careful! with Paquito D'Rivera, and Reach for the Sky with Maurice Hines. In regional theater: The Golem of Havana at Barrington Stage, Preppies at Goodspeed, La Posada Mágica at George Street Playhouse. TV/Film: Law& Order, one Spanish-language Keebler Elf, many dying gasps in Scarface, and several indistinguishable yet unforgettable Mediterraneans on Guiding Light.

Thomas Christopher Nieto hails from South Texas. He has performed at many regional theaters throughout the US and Central America including Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, Smokey Mountain Shakespeare Festival, and off Broadway to name a few.
