Discover and relive the successful and controversial life and experience of one of the 20th Century's most compelling personalities - Muhammad Ali. Obie Award winner
Geoffrey Ewing stars in this engaging portrait as the champ battles his boxing nemesis, Smokin' Joe Frazier, as well as the Supreme Court. The play will be on stage at the New Brunswick theater with a run beginning February 7 and continuing through February 17. Tickets are on sale
now.
In the 1990s, Mr. Ewing performed in the production of ALI, which he co-wrote with Graydon
Royce. This latest incarnation of the Ali story is written entirely by Mr. Ewing and it pays
tribute to his perseverance and determination inside and outside the ring.
The new version of the play features Mr. Ewing as a scholar sharing his perspective on the great champion, and then shifting to memorable moments' of Ali's life - 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, his joining the Nation of Islam, being stripped of his title after refusal to join the military, his legendary fights with Frazier, the 1974 "Rumble in the Jungle" against George Foreman in Zaire and defeat at the hands of Larry Holmes.

In addition to performing Ali, Ewing re-creates a dead-on impersonation of media personality
Howard Cosell. Ewing feels "the show is draining to perform but audiences love the man and
they love the show."
