Capitol Center for the Arts (Concord, NH) will host the Off-Broadway hit comedy SEX TIPS FOR STRAIGHT WOMEN FROM A GAY MAN on Saturday, May 20 at 8pm. Written by Matt Murphy and based on the best-selling book of the same title, this hilarious romantic comedy takes the audience on a hilarious and wild ride where no topic is taboo and the insider 'tips' come straight from the source: a gay man. This theatrical production is based on the book "Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man" by Dan Anderson and Maggie Berman. First published in 1997, "Sex Tips" championed the straight girl/gay guy friendship in mainstream pop culture and became a national best seller.

The play is set at a local university auditorium where the English Department holds a monthly "Meet the Authors" event. Robyn is the shy and studious moderator and the featured author is Dan Anderson, who penned "Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man." Then there's hunky stage assistant Stefan.... Thwarting Robyn's attempts to moderate a scholarly discussion of the book, Dan aims to entertain those in attendance with a highly theatrical, audience-interactive sex tip seminar.

TheaterMania touted: "SEX TIPS is one of the best date-night shows you'll see this year. Breathlessly entertaining! Uproariously funny! Hysterically titillating!" Broadway World called the show "a night of fun and exhausting laughter...."

Tickets for the May 20 performance of SEX TIPS FOR STRAIGHT WOMEN FROM A GAY MAN are $45, plus any applicable fees for phone/Internet sales. (A $100 four-pack is also available.)
