The Tempest will be simulcast live on the Peterborough Players big screen on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 1:00 pm. Based on Shakespeare's play, this is the third production in the 2012-13 season of The Met: Live in HD opera series. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students.

Composer Thomas Adès conducts the Metropolitan Opera premiere of his own work, with baritone Simon Keenlyside starring as Prospero. Director Robert Lepage recreates the interior of 18th-century La Scala in this inventive staging.

Delicious savory and sweet "Opera Bites" from Sunflowers Restaurant and Catering will be available both pre-show and during intermission.
