New Hampshire Theatre Project is proud to present some of the Seacoast's most vibrant and talented musicians in a program of reels, jigs, songs and the unusual mouth music of Scotland. Celtic Hearts features Gail Adams on keyboard, Cathryn Norris on violin & fiddle, and Judy Ringer on vocals. The members of Celtic Hearts met over two decades ago while performing Bach cantatas for soprano and obbligato instruments in their chamber ensemble, Mostly Baroque. Recently, they've been focusing on the joyful and more familiar Scottish/Irish repertoire.

Gail F. Adams, is recently retired from the Music Director's position at the United Church of Christ in No. Hampton, NH. She presently directs the Hand Bell Choir at the First Congregational Church in Kittery Point, ME, and is accompanist for the Community Chorus of South Berwick. A former accompanist for the Rockingham Choral Society and harpsichordist with Mostly Baroque, she accompanies soloists and instrumentalists throughout Maine and New Hampshire.

Cathryn Norris has been a professional violinist since the age of 16. In 1998, she joined The Angel Band, an award-winning seacoast Celtic string ensemble. In addition she performs with symphony, chamber groups, musical theatre, opera, and ballet, and is a dedicated and passionate teacher of violin and fiddle.

Judy Ringer performs as soloist with Portsmouth's North Church UCC, Music in Market Square concerts, and as guest soloist at area churches and community gatherings. She is also a writer, workshop leader, and author.

Celtic Hearts will offer a single performance at West End Studio Theatre on Sunday, May 7 at 2 pm. All tickets are $20. Come join Gail, Cathryn and Judy for a joyful afternoon of Celtic music.
