The Peterborough Players' Arts on Screen 2015-2016 Series announces the screening of the new National Theatre production of the Charlotte Brontë classic JANE EYRE. It will be presented in HD at the Peterborough Players on Sunday, January 10th at 1pm. just as it was presented at London's Naional Theatre.

Almost 170 years on, Charlotte Brontë's story of the trailblazing Jane is as inspiring as ever. This bold and dynamic production uncovers one woman's fight for freedom and fulfillment on her own terms. From her beginnings as a destitute orphan, Jane Eyre's spirited heroine faces life's obstacles head-on, surviving poverty, injustice and the discovery of bitter betrayal before taking the ultimate decision to follow her heart.

This acclaimed re-imagining of Brontë's masterpiece was first staged by Bristol Old Vic last year, when the story was performed over two evenings. Director Sally Cookson now brings her celebrated production to the National, presented on-screen in brilliant HD, as a single, exhilarating performance.

The Peterborough Players' Arts on Screen series is presented in stunning NEC high definition digital projection and incomparable Dolby® Surround Sound. This is third year the National Theatre Live series has been presented at the Peterborough Players.

JANE EYRE tickets are $20 each. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 603-924-7585 or online at PlayersTix.com. Students (with proper ID) can purchase tickets (at the box office) for $15. The Players accepts MasterCard, Visa or American Express.

The Arts on Screen National Theatre Live series is exclusively sponsored by H&R Block.

The Peterborough Players Theatre is located at 55 Hadley Road in Peterborough, New Hampshire, approximately 80 miles from Boston.
