Bay Street Players in downtown Eustis presents SISTER AMNESIA'S COUNTRY WESTERN NUNSENSE JAMBOREE, the third musical in the beloved Nunsense series, November 18 through December 11. "This is like revisiting old friends whom you're glad to see haven't changed," says Dan Goggin, writer of the Nunsense musicals. He terms this show "‘Nunsense' meets ‘Hee Haw' at the Grand Ole Opry."
Artistic Director David W. Clevinger is directing the show and has designed and decorated the entrance, lobby and the stage of the theatre into a country western Christmas showcase.Sister Amnesia (Stephanie Adams) always wanted to be a country singer. In "Nunsense 2" she got a recording contract. In "Nunsense Jamboree" Sister Mary Paul (a. k. a. Sister Amnesia) has her dream realized. She has recorded her first album entitled "I Could've Gone to Nashville." This show features the antics of four nuns and a priest whose 26 musical numbers will have the audience singing and clapping along with the cast.Plans are made for hitting the road to promote Amnesia's album with Sister Mary Wilhelm (Debbie Sussman) supervising the promotion, along with Father Virgil Trott (Spencer T. Folmar) and Sister Mary Leo (Heather Good). The show also features Sister Robert Anne (Kelly Coy) who completes the cast of five in this fun-filled evening of entertainment.Videos
