Roger Buckwalter, Chair of the Northern Palm Beaches Cultural Alliance (NPBCA), recently announced the election of new officers and members to the Board of Directors. The election took place at the May 9 meeting, held at the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta.

The officers elected for one year terms are Roger Buckwalter - Chair, Linda White - Vice Chair, Carol Davis - Secretary, and Nancy Denholm - Treasurer. White is owner and Artistic Director of ArtStage Performing Arts Center. Davis is Curator of the Edna Hibel Museum and Denholm is the Theater Director at Palm Beach State College/Eissey Campus.

The organizations elected to two-year terms as board members are the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre, ArtStage Performing Arts Center, Florida Atlantic University/MacArthur Campus, the Town of Juno Beach, the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, the Jupiter Courier Newsweekly, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Florida Weekly, Clicking In, and Mainstreet at Midtown.

In a recent interview Buckwalter said, "The NPBCA is a non-profit which seeks to promote community appreciation and support for the arts. The organization has been a well-respected and active presence at many Palm Beach County festivals and events since 2004, bringing together a diversity of arts, cultural and educational institutions as well as government and corporate entities."

The NPBCA is recognized in the community for its ability to reach a wide demographic from individuals to corporate sponsors - all of whom understand that the arts are an integral part of a flourishing society.

In addition to monthly networking meetings, members are promoted in the NPBCA's full color brochure and online at www.npbculturalalliance.org. Reduced hard copy, on air and online advertising rates are offered on a regular basis as well as a speaker series through which members are kept informed of the latest social media/marketing opportunities.

Membership dues are $100.00 per year for organizations, businesses and government entities. An individual membership is $50.00.
