The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County is proud to announce its 10th season of showcasing Broadway's greatest hits in the Ziff Ballet Opera House with a five-show subscription package that is power-packed with musical blockbusters. The 2015-2016 Broadway in Miami season presented by Bank of America includes the Arsht Center premiere of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Following an acclaimed sold-out tour of the United Kingdom, Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's phenomenal musical success, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, will play a limited two-week engagement (February 24 - March 6, 2016) as part of a North American tour.

The 2015-2016 Broadway in Miami season also includes the South Florida premiere of KINKY BOOTS (December 8 - 13, 2015), a six-time Tony® Award-winning musical featuring a joyous Tony® Award-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, direction and Tony® Award-winning choreography by Jerry Mitchell and a hilarious, uplifting book by four-time Tony® Award winner Harvey Fierstein. The season continues with a brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC (December 29, 2015 - January 3, 2016), the spirited and beloved musical story of the Von Trapp family; MOTOWN THE MUSICAL (February 2 - 7, 2016), the true American dream story of Motown founder Berry Gordy's journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson and many more; and direct from Broadway, the critically acclaimed and award-winning Roundabout Theatre Company is proud to present SAM MENDES (Skyfall, American Beauty) and ROB MARSHALL'S (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award®-winning production of CABARET.

The 2015-2016 Broadway in Miami subscription season is made possible with the generous support of Bank of America and is presented by Florida Theatrical Association, Broadway Across America and the Adrienne Arsht Center.

Season ticket prices for the five-show subscription package range from $160 to $595.* Current subscribers may renew their season tickets before the general public beginning March 8, 2015 by visiting the Adrienne Arsht Center box office, located at 1300 Biscayne Blvd. in Miami, calling the Season Ticket Holder Hotline toll-free at (800) 939-8587 or the box office at (305) 949-6722. Season renewals are also available online at www.arshtcenter.org. Please have your account number, renewal invoice and credit card available. Renewal period ends April 10, 2015.

The hills are alive! A brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, directed by three-time Tony Award® winning Director Jack O'Brien, is coming to Miami. The spirited, romantic and beloved musical story of Maria and the Von Trapp family will once again thrill audiences with its Tony®, Grammy® and Academy Award® winning Best Score, including "My Favorite Things," "Do-Re-Mi," "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," "Edelweiss" and the title song.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC enjoyed extraordinary success as the first live television production of a musical in over 50 years when "THE SOUND OF MUSIC Live!" aired on NBC in December, 2013 (seen by over 44 million people). 2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the film version, which continues to be the most successful movie musical in history.

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

Following an acclaimed sold-out tour of the United Kingdom, Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's phenomenal musical success, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, will come to Miami as part of a North American tour. Critics are raving that this breathtaking production is "bigger and better than ever before."

This PHANTOM features a brilliant new scenic design by Paul Brown, Tony Award®-winning original costume design by Maria Björnson, lighting design by Tony Award®-winner Paule Constable, new choreography by Scott Ambler, and a new staging by director Laurence Connor.
