Working Barn Productions and Bontela Productions will present a six-actor, multimedia look at William Shakespeare's classic tragedy, MACBETH, directed by Peter Richards. MACBETH will preview on Thursday, October 9 & Friday, October 10 at 8pm and will open on Saturday, October 11 at 8pm and will run through Sunday, November 2 at Edgemar Center for the Arts, 2437 Main Street in Santa Monica.

Shakespeare's tragic masterpiece takes us inside the troubled mind of a murderer, and charts Macbeth's horrifying journey from war-hero to tyrant, from "peerless kinsman" to "fiend of Scotland." Featuring a versatile six-actor cast, immersive multi-media, and some of the greatest language ever written, this dynamic new production of MACBETH brings immediacy and intimacy to a dark, shocking, timeless classic. PETER RICHARDS (Director) is a New York-based director and actor who grew up in Santa Monica. Directing credits include: The Aliens by Annie Baker, Elizabeth Rex by Timothy Findley, Dying City by Christopher Shinn, and Brilliant Traces by Cindy Lou Johnson, all at Opera House Arts; Big Love, by Charles L. Mee; 400 Parts Per Million with Blessed Unrest. He is a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Director's Lab.
