Grove Theatre Holds Benefit Concert Tonight

Tonight, August 24th is Singing for the Grove. Entertainers join together in a one night only Concert to benefit the Grove Theatre and Academy.

Toni Morrell, who has achieved international recognition as a Singer-Comedienne-Actor-Entertainer and Voice Artist, will headline the show both performing and acting as mistress of ceremonies for the evening.

The list of talent includes: Melodye Dewine, whose passion for singing focuses on ballads from the 40's, 50's and 60's; David Dial, who as a performing musician, has worked with such luminaries as Carol Channing, Burt Bacharach, and James Darren; Deborah Johnson, half of the high energy, Las Vegas style show, Legendary Duets, performing with her son, David Johnson; Frank, Donna and Amanda Minano, well known performing artists from the Inland Valley Repertory Theatre; Maeve Riley, who recently had the lead in Godspell at The Grove, and has performed as Christine in Phantom; Kim Eberhardt who has toured nationally in Disney's Symphonic Fantasy and has toured in Camelot; Ginger Kinison, performing artist; and Sherry Kinison well known Gospel artist and owner of The Grove.

This family friendly performance is at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $25 - $50 and can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, by visiting The Grove box office or on the website at http://www.grovetheatre.com.
