The Colburn Chamber Music Society will present "one of the standout quartets of the new generation" (The New York Times), the Ebène Quartet (Pierre Colombet, violin; Gabriel le Magadure, violin; Mathieu Herzog, viola; Raphael Merlin, cello), in its second concert of the 2012-2013 season on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Zipper Hall in Los Angeles. Joining them will be The Colburn School's very own multi-award-winning ensemble, the Calidore String Quartet (Jeffrey Myers, violin; Ryan Meehan, violin; Jeremy Berry, viola; Estelle Choi, cello).

With a program featuring works by Ravel, Mendelssohn and Schubert, audiences won't want to miss these four talented Parisians, whom the Los Angeles Times has stated is, "a quartet to catch sooner rather than later," nor the Los Angeles-based Calidore String Quartet.
