TAYLOR II on December 3, 2011 at 8 PM. Tickets are $44 or $22 for students.

Paul Taylor has won the National Medal of Arts, the MacArthur Genius Award, he's in the French Légion d'honneur (Legion of Honour), and now his works are coming here. This intrepid company performs adaptations of his famous pieces to eager audiences across the country and around the world.

Young Adult on December 7, 2011 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15.

A preview screening of one of the most anticipated movies of the year: "Young Adult," directed by four-time Oscar nominee Jason Reitman ("Up in the Air"), written by Oscar-winner Diablo Cody ("Juno"), and starring Oscar-winner Charlize Theron ("Monster") and Golden Globe-nominee Paul Walker ("Angels in America"). And here to take your questions after the screening will be the hilarious and talented Patton Oswalt, who appears in the film. Patton is known for his five HBO stand-up specials and roles that include both TV ("The King of Queens") and film (Pixar's "Ratatouille").

J.D. CROWE on December 9, 2011 at 8 pm. Tickets are $40.

It's impossible to overstate how much J.D. Crowe has influenced bluegrass music since he first came to prominence as a young member of the Sunny Mountain Boys. Not only is he one of the most influential banjo stylists ever to pick the five, he has long been recognized as one of the most musically adventurous bandleaders that bluegrass has ever had. Truly a bluegrass legend, J.D. and his band The New South combine the best of hard-driving, traditionally rooted bluegrass with a thoroughly modern musical sensibility.

THE PLATTERS 7 THE MARVELETTES on December 10, 2011. Tickets are $55.

Legendary Motown groups The Platters and The Marvelettes rock the Emelin stage in an unforgettable night of hits including Only You, Great Pretender, Please Mr. Postman, and many more.

GANDALF MURPHY 7 THE SLAMBOVIAN CIRCUS OF DREAMS on December 16, 2011 at 8 pm. Tickets are $27.

Gandalf Murphy & The Slambovian Circus of Dreams' singularly indescribable uniqueness has been labeled as "hillbilly Pink Floyd," an apt description, particularly if you throw in elements of Neil Young, The Band, Bob Dylan and even Frank Zappa. At the same time, their sound and their songs feel so familiar and classic, it's as if you've been listening to them all your life. It all adds up to music that is not only uplifting and empowering but fun—a lot of fun.

THE PAPER BAG PLAYERS on December 26 and 27 at 11 am and 1:30 pm. Tickers are $18 for adults and $13 for children.

The Paper Bag Players return to the Emelin! Described by Parent Guide as "side-splittingly funny and jam-packed with energy and pizzazz," The Players are sure to dazzle and entertain. Ages 2+

Box Office is at 153 Library Lane, Mamaroneck, NY 10543 (www.emelin.org/directions.html)
