"We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered," a tribute to popular 70s music group The Carpenters, is coming to the Suncoast Showroom June 22 and 23.

"We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered" is a celebration of the duo's music, starring Michelle Bertling Brett as Karen, and accompanied by a live band of versatile Nashville musicians led by Harry Sharpe.

Grammy-winning duo Karen and Richard Carpenter sold more than 100 million records and charted twelve top ten singles including "(They Long to be) Close to You," "Rainy Days and Mondays," "Yesterday Once More" and "I Won't Last a Day Without You."

Bertling Brett has performed the Standard Songbook and jazz repertoire in her own cabaret and club shows, most notably "Jazz, Torch and Ancient Pop" and "Michelle Bertling Sings Peggy Lee." She continues to tour the United States and Canada with "The Man in Black" show.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available starting from $15.95, plus tax and convenience fees. Tickets can be purchased at any Boyd Gaming Box Office, by calling 702.636.7075 or visiting www.suncoastcasino.com.
