Reggae Quartet The Green to Return to Hard Rock Live Las Vegas, 12/29-30
Hawaiian reggae quartet, The Green, will return to Hard Rock Live Las Vegas, located inside Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip on Sunday, December 29 and Monday, December 30 with Common Kings and other special guests, including ST1, ForTwentyDaze, One Pin Short, and Haleamano.
Formed by four friends in Oahu in 2009, The Green blends roots reggae with traditional Hawaiian vibes, creating an unmistakable island sound that has brought multiple awards and critical acclaim to the rhythmic group. Made up of soulful singer Caleb Keolanui, often referred to as the "harmony master," guitarist J.P. Kennedy, who contributes powerful and captivating vocals, keyboardist and vocalist Ikaika Antone, and singer and guitarist Zion Thompson, the group harmoniously masters vocals and instruments.
The Green is currently promoting the release of their recent album, Hawai'i '13, which has been met with rave reviews by critics. Their self-titled debut album, The Green, reached number three on the Billboard's Reggae Chart and remained in the Top 10 for 25 weeks.
For both shows, The Green will be joined by the soulful, fun-loving Common Kings, whose head-rocking beats, infectious rhythms, and emotive melodies create a dynamic and impassioned sound. Producing phenomenal pop hits infused with their love for Polynesian roots; rock, reggae, and R&B influences; the Common Kings create a live show that is as soothing as it is exhilarating.
The group's impressive resume includes sold-out shows in Hawaii, Los Angeles, Guam, Tokyo, and Australia, a dedicated legion of fans, and more than seven million YouTube views of their independently produced hits, including "Alcoholic," "Wade In Your Water," "No Other Love," and "Fly."
The Green and Common Kings will be joined by ST1 and ForTwentyDaze on December 29, and One Pin Short and Haleamano on December 30.
