Las Vegas Mayor, Carolyn G. Goodman, and her husband and former Mayor Oscar B. Goodman will once again join the Las Vegas Philharmonic on stage at the evening performance of the orchestra's 'We Love the Holidays!' concert tonight, December 7th at The Smith Center.

The first couple of Las Vegas made its debut with the orchestra at last year's holiday concerts giving an entertaining and warmly received reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas to orchestral accompaniment. The Goodmans will return to Reynolds Hall this year to join the Las Vegas Philharmonic and guest conductor Bob Bernhardt on stage for a special holiday performance at the 7:30 p.m. concert. (They will not perform at the 2:00 p.m. matinee concert.)

In addition to the Goodmans, 'We Love the Holidays!' features tenor Tim King and over 100 local singers including 70 members of the Las Vegas Master Singers and the 30-strong Clark Country Children's Choir. In addition, 15 members of the Faith Lutheran Middle School and High School Handbell Choir will also perform at the concerts which are the Las Vegas Philharmonic's only holiday season performances.

Tickets start at $25 for balcony seats with seats at other levels priced at $46, $64 and $94. The Las Vegas Philharmonic offers a 50% student discount at all concerts available for all seats when purchasing with ID. Group sales with discounts for groups of 10 or more are also available by calling the Las Vegas Philharmonic at 702.258.5438.
