Las Vegas Wranglers to Play 'Topless' Hockey Against Colorado Eagles, 2/4

This Monday, Feb. 4, marks the Las Vegas Wranglers' fourth annual "Over 18 Night." The unforgettable night kicks off at 9:05 p.m. at Orleans Arena and will feature lots of skin and laughs as the popular ECHL team plays the Colorado Eagles. Already branded for their outrageous style, the Wranglers are making history by claiming the title of the world's first topless professional hockey team.

Sponsored by the newest hot spot at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Sin City Comedy, the specialty jersey features a bare chest, sculpted abs, and the Wranglers crest tattooed over the right pectoral. Adorning the shoulders are a "topless hockey" and Wranglers word mark, with light arm hair filling out the details. The jerseys will be auctioned on the concourse through the end of the second intermission, and one fan will win a topless jersey off a player's back at the end of the second period.

No stranger to pushing the limits, Wranglers President and Chief Operating Officer, Billy Johnson states, "The guys have never looked to be in better shape."

In addition to the risqué jerseys, Sin City Comedy will also provide guests top-notch entertainment throughout the night by showcasing the talents of their nationally known comedians.

Wranglers fans will also receive a special $5 ticket at Sin City Comedy when they present a ticket stub. This offer is only valid until the end of the season. Tickets are available at or by calling (702) 471-PUCK.

The newest hotspot at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Sin City Comedy promises to tickle funny bones and more with its perfect combination of burlesque and standup comedy. Performances are nightly at 9 p.m. at the Sin City Theatre, located on the Mezz at Planet Hollywood. Tickets are priced at $48.50 and $37.50 and can be purchased in person at the Sin City Box Office at Planet Hollywood, online at and and by phone at (877) 374-7469 or (702)777-7776. Guests must be 18 years and up. Through the month of February, locals will receive a $5 ticket special (with the purchase of one drink).

The Las Vegas Wranglers are a member of the ECHL, the premier AA hockey league. Since 2003-04, the team has been bringing exciting hockey action to the desert, including a Kelly Cup Finals run in 2007-08 and 2011-12, and seeing 11 former players (and one coach) get NHL action under their skates. The Wranglers also work to support and enrich the local community through volunteer efforts, educational programs and supply drives for local non-profit organizations. Celebrating 10 seasons of Wranglers hockey this year, season seat packages start at just $30 and are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at Orleans Arena, located next to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave.

Additional 2013 Wranglers promotional dates include the second annual Wranglers Midnight Circus on Feb. 17 and the third annual Regrettable Tattoo Night on March 23. Tickets are available at or by calling (702)-471-PUCK."
