Today, June 22nd, Las Vegas' resident production of Evil Dead the Musical is celebrating its one year milestone at the Planet Hollywood's V Theater. To celebrate the one year anniversary, director Sirc Michaels and the cast of Evil Dead the Musical are inviting fans out for an outrageous weekend filled with activities, events, more laughter, and far more blood.

Highlights of the weekend-long celebration:

1. June 20th - WORLD WAR Z Advance Screening hosted by EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL at the Galaxy Cannery Theatre at 8pm.

2. June 21st - Summer Blood Drive hosted by EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL on behalf of United Blood Services at MaximuM Comics in Henderson. All donors will receive a pair of tickets to the show as well as comics from MaximuM Comics.

3. June 21st & June 22nd - Special Splatter Zone VIP Exclusive Packages will be available. Fans will get a chance to party before the show with the cast that includes 2 free drinks, an autographed pic, preferred Splatter Zone seating, a special behind-the-scenes Q&A meet and greet after the performance, and a special photo taken onstage in the cabin with the actors.

EVIL DEAD is the first show developed at the local community level to advance to the Strip, where it has outlasted many larger shows that have opened and closed since it took to the V Theater. It has a loyal fanbase that continues to grow with each performance. The show does many outreach projects throughout the year, as well as hostings of events that its fans are interested in. It is, in short, the only production of its kind of the Las Vegas Strip.
