Acclaimed by the Associated Press as "quite simply, a phenomenon," Mamma Mia! continues its success around the world having been seen by more than 54 million people in 39 productions in 14 languages in over 400 cities. Now celebrating 13 smash-hit years and over 5,000 performances on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre, Mamma Mia! is the 9th longest running show in Broadway history and one of only five musicals to have run for more than 10 years on Broadway. The original West End production, now in its 15th year, has celebrated more than 6,000 performances in London. Mamma Mia! is one of the most successful musicals of all time and the movie adaptation starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan is the most successful movie musical, grossing $600 million worldwide.

Inspired by the storytelling magic of ABBA's timeless songs, Mamma Mia! is Judy Craymer's vision of staging writer Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny tale of family and friendship unfolding on a tiny Greek island. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they had last visited 20 years ago. Songs including "Dancing Queen," "The Winner Takes It All," "Money, Money, Money" and "Take a Chance on Me" are all featured in this feel-good night of fun and laughter.

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, Mamma Mia! is written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast. The production is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.

MAMMA MIA! is produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East and Björn Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal.
