Belinda Carlisle will bring all of her hits, including "Heaven is a Place on Earth" to The Orleans Showroom April 30 and May 1.

For nearly 40 years, Carlisle has enjoyed worldwide success first as the lead singer-songwriter of The Go-Go's and later, as a multi-talented solo artist.

With their influential pop-punk sound, The Go-Go's quickly became one of the most successful all-female bands during the 1980s. The group's 1981 debut album "Beauty and the Beat" produced mega-hits "We Got the Beat" and "Our Lips Are Sealed." The album spent six weeks atop the U.S. charts and went on to receive triple-Platinum status. In 1982, the band received a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. The Go-Go's went on to record several more signature hits in the 1980s, including "Vacation," which reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and "Head Over Heels," which peaked at #11.

After The Go-Go's disbanded in the mid-80s, Carlisle found more success as a solo artist. Her debut album "Belinda" reached Gold status in 1986 and included the hit "Mad About You," which reached #3 on the U.S. charts. In 1987, she released her second solo album, "Heaven on Earth," containing several top-10 singles: "Circle in the Sand," "I Get Weak," and the #1 hit single, "Heaven Is a Place on Earth."

Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets start at $39.95 plus tax and fees and can be purchased at any Boyd Gaming box office location, by calling 702.284.7777 or by visiting www.orleanscasino.com.
