Musical Theater Heritage presents SWEENEY TODD the musical, starring Don Richard & Cathy Barnett April 12-29. Performances are Thursdays at 7pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm & 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm.

Winner of 8 Tony Awards, this Stephen Sondheim & Hugh Wheeler classic tells the story of Benjamin Barker, alias Sweeney Todd, who returns to London after 15 years of being imprisoned on false charges. When he learns from his former landlady, Mrs. Lovett that his young wife poisoned herself, and that his daughter Johanna was kidnapped by the judge who wrongly imprisoned him, he vows revenge. The music & lyrics in this tale are perfectly blended to provide an incredibly powerful evening of theater.

Patrons are invited to come to these concert-style musicals in an intimate setting, featuring Kansas City's top performers, while seated in large, movie-style seats.
