The Kansas City Symphony, led by Music Director Michael Stern, has once again been invited to perform the national anthem for the Kansas City Royals as part of their "Opening Day" festivities, as well as the highly anticipated World Series ring ceremony.

Sunday night's game will be against the New York Mets.

The symphony will be performing Michael Kamen's "Band of Brothers" Suite during the ring ceremony, which begins around 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5 at Kauffman Stadium.
