Go Comedy!, Michigan's premier improv theater, will bring laughter and screams to its stage this month with a new comedy from Go U! The Improv Academy and a return of two Go Comedy! favorites. Go U!'s Advanced Five class brings All I Really Need To Know I Learned at Happy Hour to the theatre's weekly schedule Wednesday nights.Stage Fright returns for an encore engagement and a new Best Of Go Comedy! presentation round out the weekly schedule. Tickets ($5 - $15) for all Go Comedy! performances are on sale now at www.gocomedy.net or in person at the Go Comedy! box office beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday - Sunday evening. All I Really Need To Know I Learned at Happy Hour
Like any happy hour, join the members of Go U! The Improv Academy's Advanced Five class during happy hour as they share stories about the ups and downs of life. From the problems of wearing skinny jeans, relationships, single's resorts, funerals, Dr. Suess, Prince Alberts, to just going for it and making your dreams come true. Bring your friends for this hilarious original comedy complete with drink special during the show. All I Really Need to Know I Learned at Happy Houris written by and features James Cerini, Corene Ford, Kevin Lytle, Lorin Kozlowski, Lucas Villapando, Bob Weick and Jillian Witherspoon with additional writing by Scott Vertical. It is directed by Gary Lehman with assistance from Clint Lohman. Performance times are 8:00pm Wednesday evenings October 9-30. Tickets ($10) are on sale now at www.gocomedy.net.

Stage Fright

Go Comedy! is proud to announce the return of one of its favorite productions, Stage Fright, which made its debut in October 2011. A haunting farce, it's a show within a show. What begins as a well-meaning community theatre production of Dracula, ends in the end of the world. Watch as the cast and stage manager do everything they can to keep their show together as the world around them falls to pieces. Written and directed by Jen Hansen and Peter Jacokes, the show features Lauren Bickers, Jennifer Bloomer, Dan Brittain, Michelle Giorlando, Erik Heilner, Chris Petersen and James Quesada.Stage Fright plays Thursdays in October at 8pm, as well as special Midnight performances on Oct 25 and 26. The Best Of Go Comedy! 2

Celebrating the theatre's upcoming five year anniversary, Go Comedy! proudly presents its second "Best Of" show. Featuring scenes from some of Go Comedy!'s most hilarious scenes from its first five years, The Best Of Go Comedy! 2 is directed by Suzie Jacokes and features Jennifer Bloomer, Chris Diangelo, Erik Heilner, Tim Kay, Carrie Parmenter, Chris Petersen and Andrew Seiler. Appearing Friday evenings at 8:00pm October 11 - November 1, tickets are $15 and available now online at www.gocomedy.net.

Commedia Del Farte

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! the renaissance is back at Go Comedy!. Beginning September 5, Commedia dell Farte takes a comedic look at the ins and outs of Michigan's storied Renaissance Festival. Jousts, swordplay, falcons and more receive the royal comedic treatment in this late night one-act comedy and features Jennifer Bloomer, Andy Burt, Jeremy Griffin and Pete Jacokes, directed by Tim Kay. Commedia Del Farte continues at 10:00 pm Thursday evenings through October 24 Tickets ($10) are on sale now at www.gocomedy.net.
