Second Thought Theatre presents The Bomb-itty of Errors, the final show in its eight season, at Bryant Hall on the Kalita Humphreys Campus. Amy Corcoran, making her STT debut, will direct this hip-hop retelling of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors.

"The Bomb-itty of Errors is a completely fresh and energized retelling of Shakespeare's first comedy," says Corcoran. "Although the story seems familiar, this telling is unbelievably witty and quick. Second Thought is the perfect theatre in Dallas to premiere this production because of their willingness and want to think outside the traditional theatre "box". The cast will not cease to amaze and entertain with their hilarity and commitment to the fun of this piece with the extra fun hip-hop element in full effect. This will without a doubt be something unlike anything else you will see in Dallas this summer and you will leave still laughing."

Zac Kelty is returning to the Dallas stage for the first time in three years as Dromio of Ephesus. Kelty currently lives in Brisbane, Australia and is a member of the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble. Making his STT debut is Joseph Holt as Antipholus of Ephesus. STT ensemble member Drew Wall and STT co-artistic director Steven Michael Walters round out the cast as Dromio of Syracuse and Antipholus of Syracuse.

STT's four-man cast takes on every role in the play, male and female, and tells Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors in modern language and rap with an original score written by Heath Gage and Walters. Rounding out the design team are Caitlin Rain as costume designer and JoJo Percy as lighting designer.

"Our intention this season was to celebrate our return to Dallas and to the Kalita Humphreys Campus," says Walters. "This play is a celebration of one of the greatest playwrights of all time and one of the most original musical forms in American history. The Bomb-itty of Errors is energetic and smartly written and is the perfect closing for our homecoming season. And who doesn't love a little hip-hop?"
