The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today a HAMLET experience unlike any HAMLET you have witnessed before! It's every word, every line of the original text. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare readings of HAMLET will take the stage on Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20 at Hamon Hall in the Dallas Arts District.

Due to its length, a pre-show discussion, dinner break and post-show Q&A with cast and creative team will be offered. Box dinners are available for pre-purchase at www.attpac.org/on-sale/hamlet.

Below is the schedule for both performances (March 19 & 20) for the Complete Works staged reading of HAMLET with Shakespeare Dallas:

2 p.m. - Pre-show discussion.

3 p.m. - Reading begins.

5:30 p.m. - Dinner break (time is approximate) with panel discussion featuring Shakespeare Scholars and creatives.

Shortly after dinner break: Reading resumes.

Post show Q&A with cast and creative team to follow at conclusion of reading.

The 2015/2016 season of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare marks the fourth of a five-year artistic collaboration presenting all of William Shakespeare's plays and sonnets. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare is produced and directed by Shakespeare Dallas, under the leadership of Executive and Artistic Director Raphael Parry. This series is made possible through the generosity of the Mankoff Family Foundation.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare utilizes a staged reading format with simple props, lighting and costumes to keep the focus on the poetry and brilliance of the text. Most performances will take place on Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings, encouraging participation by a wide range of Dallas' theatrical artists and audiences alike.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare reading of HAMLET will have a limited capacity of 200 seats per performance. Tickets are available for all performances at www.attpac.org or by calling the Center's Box Office at 214-880-0202. Tickets for all performances are only $10 each. Students with a valid ID may purchase tickets on a pay-what-you-can basis in person at the box office beginning one hour before each performance.

The AT&T Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit foundation that operates and programs a 10-acre campus comprised of three premier performance venues and a park in downtown Dallas. Opening in October 2009, the Center has helped complete the 30-year vision of the Dallas Arts District.

Audiences enjoy the best and most recent from Broadway and off-Broadway; the finest dance companies from across the globe co-presented with TITAS Presents; top concerts and performers with Center Presents; cutting-edge speakers; and a five-year initiative to present The Complete Works of William Shakespeare. The Center also offers free programming for audiences from every part of the community and produces the expansive, biannual light-based art event Aurora across the Arts District. Thousands of students explore and more deeply experience the arts through the Center's education program, Open Stages. Working with local service agencies, the Center provides free tickets to underserved individuals and families through Community Partners. These programs are made possible by the ongoing support of donors and members.

The Center's five resident companies are among the city's leading arts institutions: Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, The Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center and Texas Ballet Theater.

Designed by internationally acclaimed architects, the Center's performance spaces are some of the finest venues in the world:

Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, designed by Foster + Partners of London, is a stunning 2,200-seat venue wrapped in red glass with outstanding acoustic performance halls.

Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre is a 575-seat theatre with one of the most versatile stages in the world and a distinctive aluminum exterior. It was designed by REX/OMA, Joshua Prince-Ramus (partner in charge) and Rem Koolhaas.

Annette Strauss Square, designed by Foster + Partners, is an open-air entertainment venue with lawn and patio seating for 2,000 surrounded by the downtown skyline.

Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park is an urban park with native plants and grasses, landscaped lawns, performance spaces, a reflecting pool. Sammons Park was designed by Michel Desvigne and includes the Information Center designed by Foster + Partners.

The Center's mission is to provide a public gathering place that strengthens community and fosters creativity through the presentation of performing arts.

Inspired by the egalitarian nature of the New York Shakespeare Festival, Robert "Bob" Glenn started The Shakespeare Festival of Dallas in 1971 as a free summer Shakespeare Festival. The company serves the community as one of North Texas' most treasured cultural institutions and the area's only producer of an education program focused on teaching Shakespeare. In 2005, the company revamped its operations and branded the organization "Shakespeare Dallas" to illustrate the company's new direction of year-round, affordable and accessible programming. Shakespeare Dallas aspires to use the works of William Shakespeare as a catalyst for creating unparalleled artistic and educational programs that are meaningful and enriching for the community it serves throughout North Texas.
