The Galleries of Shadowbox Live, curated by Amy Ivanoff, feature a mix of up-and-coming artists with more established ones, celebrating the creative talents our city has to offer.

Exhibits can be viewed year-round at the Brewery District theater and Backstage Bistro located at 503 S. Front Street, and Ivanoff often organizes a meet-the-artist reception to inaugurate an exhibit, where attendees can speak directly to the artists and purchase the original art.

One such reception is planned for February 22, 2017, from 5:30pm - 7:30pm in Shadowbox Live's Backstage Bistro.

Artists Maria Francesca Flemming, Dwaine McDonald, and DErik Diaz will be on hand to share their exhibits and engage in conversations regarding their creations. A complimentary snack banquet will be available and attendance is free.

The exhibits will be on display until March 18, along with exhibits from Will Shively, Mireya Shoo, and Jim Schwartz.

Viewing times are 11:00am - 2:00pm Tuesdays - Fridays, 5:00pm - 7:00pm Tuesdays - Saturdays, 4:00pm - 7:00pm Sundays, and by appointment. To schedule an appointment contact Shadowbox Live Art Director Amy Lay at Amylay@shadowboxlive.org.
