Produced and directed by Julie Klein, PILLOW TALK provides a collection of Shadowbox Live’s best skits of the past year, hits the right notes for a variety of patrons. the two-act mixture of rock and roll and comedy opened Jan. 5 and runs through April 13 at the troupe’s stage at 503 S. Front Street in downtown Columbus.

The Shadowbox Live Academy is dedicated to bringing the performing arts to high school students across Central Ohio.  And the popular new show, Evolutionaries, a rockumentary style tribute to Prince and David Bowie, provided another opportunity to do exactly that.

The Galleries of Shadowbox Live, curated by Amy Ivanoff, feature a mix of up-and-coming artists with more established ones, celebrating the creative talents our city has to offer.

The creative team at Shadowbox Live is making final preparations for the upcoming "rockumentary" Evolutionaries: The Stories and Music of David Bowie and Prince, opening Thursday, January 26 at their Brewery District theater, 503 S. Front Street.

The Galleries of Shadowbox Live, curated by Amy Ivanoff, feature a mix of up-and-coming artists with more established ones, celebrating the creative talents our city has to offer. 

Between shopping for presents, traffic, and visits from out of town family, the Holidays are enough to stress anyone out.  Luckily, Shadowbox Live has the perfect afternoon get away that will keep you in that Holiday spirit - The Holiday Lunchbox!

 The Shadowbox Galleries have become a beloved addition to the experience at Shadowbox Live.  The beautiful and eclectic artwork that lines the hallways leading to the theater often reflects or hints at the themes of the performance that evening.  And under Curator Amy Ivanhoff's direction, new artists are being added on a regular basis.

Shadowbox Live has long been committed to support art and artists within their community.  The Shadowbox Galleries, which started as a way to showcase one artist at a time, has become an integral part of that mission.  Since bringing on a Curator, Amy Ivanhoff, the project has grown even more.  The Galleries are currently showing the work of six artists, with several more coming up soon.

Since moving into their permanent home on 503 S. Front Street five years ago, Shadowbox Live has been featuring the work of local artists on the walls of the Backstage Bistro and aptly named 'Gallery Hallway.'  What started as an experiment has grown into an integral part of the experience, and Shadowbox Live is now bringing on a Curator for the Shadowbox Galleries, Amy Ivanhoff!

Greed, power, betrayal, and the American Dream.  The themes of The Great Gatsby are timeless, transcending the Roaring 20's era where the classic story takes place.  And now you can experience the tragic tale like never before - with a Shadowbox twist.  Shadowbox Live is presenting their newest dance theater production, Broken Whispers, opening August 18th at 503 S. Front Street.

The Shadowbox Academy's Summer Bootcamp, a three-week arts intensive program for high school and early college students ages 15-21, is coming up soon! Your teen's chance to be a part of this unique opportunity is rapidly approaching, with auditions being held May 21st and today, June 4th at The Shadowbox Live Building, 503 S. Front Street.
