convergence-continuum continues its 2015 Season with the Ohio premiere of Liz Duffy Adams' THE RECKLESS RUTHLESS BRUTAL CHARGE OF IT, or THE TRAIN PLAY, a comic-poetic derailment of apocalyptic nightmares and American dreams.

Late at night somewhere in America, on a train hurtling towards infinity, eight strangers meet. A twelve-year-old girl with the superpower of a comic-book heroine manipulates time and the lives of a jaded Earth Goddess, an unraveling physicist fleeing a terrifying truth she's only glimpsed, a young man on the run from predatory angels, a cynical travel writer and three Russian brothers on a musical mission of peace. While they ride, the destruction of their universe looms as they race along a comic-poetic collision course with time, custom and connection, and zoom toward a supernatural climax.

THE TRAIN PLAY is directed by convergence-continuum's Artistic Director, Clyde Simon, and features company actors Robert Branch, Tim Coles, Marcia Mandell, Jack Matuzewski, Beau Reinker and Lauren B Smith, and con-con newcomers Taylor Tucker and Cody Zak.

THE TRAIN PLAY opens tonight, June 26 and runs Thu-Sat at 8 pm through July 18 at the Liminis theater, 2438 Scranton Rd. in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood. Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 seniors (65+), $10 students. Reservations and information at convergence-continuum.org and 216-687-0074.

The Train Play is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, and by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation.
