Cory the Clown to Appear in Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Cory the ClownCory the Clown, star of FUN WITH STEM, will be on his horse-drawn cartoon wagon with his friend, Darrel the Barrel (robotic puppet), at Charlotte's NOVANT HEALTH THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE to kick off FUN WITH STEM, a live show at Blumenthal Performing Arts Booth Playhouse, March 28-April 6 and his new Website: CorytheClown.Com.

Charlotte Center City Partners is producing this year's parade. US News & World Report included Charlotte's Thanksgiving Day Parade on its list of America's Best Thanksgiving Day Parades. Novant Health has signed on as the parade's title sponsor for the next three years, guaranteeing this tradition in Charlotte will continue. WBTV3 will televise the parade festivities with cameras set up at Levine Avenue of the Arts, as the parade marches south, 1 mile to Stonewall Street.

Cory the Clown will be waving and clowning with Darrel the Barrel on the parade route. Cory has appeared in many parades and he has performed his live variety show for US presidents and Hollywood's elite. He has appeared on TV nationally in CORY'S LEARNING CORNER, through Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member Cory the Clown to Appear in Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade!stations and American Public Television. His new Website: www.CorytheClown.Com will launch on Thanksgiving Day with enjoyable episodic videos and fun activites for children.

Corlin Productions, my Production Company, is donating the use of the wagon and the robotic puppet for the parade. Lazy 5 Ranch Animal Park in Mooresville, home to over 750 animals from 6 different continents, is providing the draft horses and rider. Brandi Alyssa Young and Quinn Riback, FUN WITH STEM cast members, will also walk down the parade route with Cory the Clown. The parade steps off at 9:30AM on Tryon Street.

Learn with Laughter has partnered with Charlotte/Mecklenburg School (CMS) district to bring this Broadway bound, variety musical, FUN WITH STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), starring Cory the Clown, to the Charlotte community at Blumenthal Performing Arts Booth Playhouse, March 28-April 6. Linda Ann Watt Linda Ann Watt is a member of SAG, AFTRA and AEA and owns Corlin Productions, a union franchised production house. Through Corlin Productions, Watt has written and directed film, television, documentaries, commercials and educational programs with celebrity guests including Betty White, Nell Carter, Dom DeLuise, Aaron Neville, Tippi Hedren and Sid Caesar. Watt teaches two acting & scene study classes at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center—the Master Class using "Method" techniques and the Workshop Advanced for working actors, directors and writers. Watt has been a recipient of a Grass Roots Arts Project (GAP) Grant 2008-2012, awarded through the Union County Community Arts Council (UCCAC) and the North Carolina Arts Council for an Enrichment Arts Program teaching acting and filmmaking & editing to youth, coordinated though Union County Public School (UCPS). Watt produces lectures featuring entertainment industry and celebrity guests for the Charlotte community. As a past executive board member of Women In Film in Los Angeles, Watt chaired and produced the Academy Awards© Viewing Party four consecutive years, which became an annual top Hollywood event. Watt has appeared in movies, television stage and national commercials. Watt is presently in post-production with her children’s series for Funny Productions, a division of Corlin Productions and she has been asked to direct a feature film "Thirty Day Promise" in late summer.
