York Little Theatre Sets 2016 Summer Camps

York Little Theatre's professional staff is ready to take children to other lands through the magic of theater in their week long theater camps. Campers will learn the fundamentals of acting by exploring and developing all of the actor's tools: expression, movement, voice and imagination. Audition techniques, prop and set design will also be explored. York Little Theatre's camps are filled with stimulating fun that will culminate with a performance on Friday for family and friends. The Magical Makeup class will explore fundamentals of designing and applying make-up for theater.

All camps are for ages 5 and up unless otherwise noted. All 5 year olds must have completed kindergarten. One t-shirt is provided at no charge to each camper. Go to www.ylt.org and click on the Education tab for more information and online registration or call 717-854-3894.

THE LITTLE MERMAID JR

Transform your child into mythical creatures through the art of makeup! Various techniques will be explored to bring a variety of characters to life for the stage. Learn how to bring out facial features and discover techniques to create texture and color by using professional theatrical makeup.
